What Is Eco Schools?

Eco-Schools is an international awards scheme that allows schools to gain recognition for sustinable development education. It gives schools awards to show what they have done in their school and local community to help improve the environment. This can be things such as waste reducation, saving energy or walking to school, many of the activities done by schools need little or no special equiptment or funding and can make a big impact to your school environment or to the world as a whole.
