What Is Eco-Schools?
Eco-Schools is an international awards scheme that allows schools to gain recognition for sustinable development education. It gives schools awards to show what they have done in their school and local community to help improve the environment. This can be things such as waste reduction, saving energy or walking to school, many of the activities schools get involved in need little or no special equiptment or funding, and can make a big impact on your school environment and to the world as a whole.
